The links listed are the sites that I have found personally useful over time. Most contain a good deal of essential or vital information. There are a variety of political points of view expressed by the various individual authors, some of which I may personally disagree with in regard to how I feel about my own gender identity. Such disagreement should NOT automatically void the usefulness of information they can provide. Listening to differences of opinion, allowing and allowing for differences of expression is extremely important to gaining understanding of myself and others.

TWR: Transsexual Women’s Resources. A controversial site by Dr. Anne Lawrence. Although I completely disagree with many of Dr Lawrence’s positions on psychological theories, the site includes valid and valuable medical information as well, ie posts about surgical outcomes from physicians in various countries. 

Lynn Conway: An extensive reference on trans issues, including material suitable for younger trans genders. Lynn hosts a copy of the out of print book, Mom, I Need to Be a Girl,authored by Just Evelyn. This is a honest documentation of a mother’s fight to assist her child in seeking gender reassignment.

Lynn Conway: Trans News Updates: Frequent updates of broad spectrum news.

Transsexual Road Map: Another good reference dealing with Transsexual Women’s issues.
